Information we collect
We collect only what we need to do our work and keep in touch with our clients and crew.
- Contact information. Name, mobile phone number, email address, and project address, when you contact us, request a quote, sign a contract with us, or join our crew.
- Text message opt-in information. When you opt in to our texts, we record your mobile number, your name (optional), whether you are a homeowner, crew member, or other, your agreement to receive texts and to our Terms and this Privacy Policy, the date and time you agreed, and, when available, the IP address and browser used to submit the form. We keep this record to prove your consent and to send you the texts you asked for.
- Project information. Job addresses, daily work notes, photos of the work, and materials receipts for your project.
- Crew work records. For our own crew members: time clock entries, job site, hours worked, and the location of the phone at clock-in and clock-out. We also keep the employment records we need for payroll and ordinary business records, such as ID and tax information and payment details. Sensitive values are encrypted and only the business owner can see them.
- Website information. Like most websites, our website host may automatically log basic technical information, such as your browser type and IP address, when you visit keystonegc.biz.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Run your project and keep you informed about it, including end-of-day progress updates and receipt notices.
- Send our crew schedule and job-site notes from the foreman and receipt confirmations for reimbursement.
- Record time worked and pay our crew.
- Answer your questions and respond to quote requests.
- Keep normal business records and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your phone number or email address for advertising or marketing.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we send text messages about your project or your work with us from +1 (309) 396-3184. These are project and work notices only, never marketing. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies: up to 2–3 text messages per working day while a project is active (about 15–20 per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
When we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that work for us and follow our instructions, such as our text message provider (Twilio), our website and app hosting providers, and our email provider. They use the information only to provide their service to us, for example to deliver a text you signed up for.
- The people on your project. For example, a homeowner receives updates about the work on their home, and our crew sees the job details they need to do the work.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person or our company.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep information
We keep project, time, and payroll records as long as we need them for the job, for paying our crew, and for ordinary business records. When you opt out of texts, we stop texting you and keep a record of your opt-out so we respect it.
How we protect information
We limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. Passwords are protected, sensitive employment information is encrypted, and access to it is limited to the business owner. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your information reasonably secure.
Your choices
- Stop texts: Reply STOP to any of our texts, or email us.
- Update or correct information: Email us and we will fix it.
- Location: Crew members can turn off location in their phone settings. Clock-in may not work if location is required for that person.
Our website, app, and text program are not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
